Duilio Forte, an artist of Italian and Swedish origin. The practical experience of Swedish tradition with attention to nature and simplicity blends with the grandeur and complexity of Italian history and artistic culture. In 1998, he founded Atelier Forte, a research laboratory in the architectural and sculptural field that deals with the design and creation of artistic and architectural works. The materials used are wood and iron. With these two ancient materials, works with special characteristics are created, such as in the Sleipnir series, the mythical eight-legged horse of Odin, which merges with the tradition of the Trojan horse, both to conquer fortresses and arsenals and to glide lightly on the Venice lagoon or in the lakes of Bergslagen, Sweden. The atelier is a space in continuous development and mutation where projects and works that define the ArkiZoic style are born. The atelier is the physical place where the contamination between different fields of art and culture constitutes a creative act. The characters that animate the spaces, like actors playing their roles, contribute with various skills and abilities to the completion of the work, as in cinema or theater.
